We are an independent group of creative specialists who believe that curating is a collaborative process and is a fundamental component of art galleries and museums.

We offer curatorial facilitation services in the areas of research, development and presentation of community-based arts programming for art galleries and museums. Community-based arts programming focuses on exhibitions, public programming, community engagement and the collaborations these projects create.

Art galleries and museums are reassessing their societal roles and are beginning to explore and utilize community-based art practices into the more traditional areas of exhibitions and public programming. We contend that community-based art practices encourage new definitions of community engagement; connectivity and the role art galleries and museums play within our communities. Our methodology offers a customized, innovative and creative process to explore participatory and collaborative engagement with visual arts, culture and history.

We integrate a collaborative process in the research and development of community-based art practices to explore new engagement strategies with art galleries, museums, cultural organizations and communities.

Our Services & Approach

There has been a steady transformation of curatorial practices that has involved more community collaboration and participation in the presentation of exhibitions and public programming. One consequences of this transformation have been the exploration of concepts of dialogue, collaboration and participation between artists, art galleries, museums and communities. Our approach is in the form of co-curation focused on the creative use of collaboration and participation, alternative forms of artistic inquiry, new ways of seeing and learning.
